SAMONJI Samonji
A robot ninja hailing from a planet with a Warring States period like that of Japan. Samonji participates in the competitions alongside his lord, the princess, to make a name for their planet. He's courteous, values loyalty, and holds the princess's commands to be absolute. He will only disobey the princes when she's in danger.

A tragically altered robot.
KOOGENKoogen
A robot from the same planet as Samonji. Originally faithful to the lord, his AI was altered by the chief retainer in an attempt to start a rebellion, leading him to be consumed by evil thoughts. The rebellion later failed, and he was exiled from the planet along with the chief retainer. They currently participate in the competitions together.

She works as a police officer.
MIRABEL Mirabel
An earthling police officer. She participates in the competitions to test the fruits of her training. She's a strong-willed cyborg with enhanced physical ability, but can't be told apart from your average human in terms of appearance.

She will avenge her brother no matter what!
STRAY BIRDStray Bird
An earthling and former soldier who's not one to boast. Catching wind that her brother's killer, Jax, is hiding his identity and participating in the competitions, she fights with tremendous tenacity, alongside her nephew who lost his father, in search of vengeance. Unlike Mirabel, she's a living person, so she must use thick armor to make up for the lack of defense.

LAMBERT Lambert
He's an earthling who has made a living for himself over many years through competing in the competitions. A ruffian and cool character, he raised a girl who lost her parents in an accident, and they both form a team. He can be pretty blunt with her, but also shows a soft side.

A jokester who goes with the flow.
Will he overcome trauma?!
LUCIENLucien
An earthling who was born on Mars. He's an easy-going fellow who likes to joke around. Once a regular fighter in the competitions, he became traumatized after killing his opponent. After distancing himself from fighting, he has only recently returned.

Competition sponsor's battle robot.
PATRICK Patrick
A robot built by parts manufacturer Banjaman Corp, which sponsors the competitions. Not only does it promote the competitions, it also promotes the Corp itself. Patrick is AI equipped. Programmed with an inclination to serve humans, Patrick has a sense of humor and teases the people he gets close to. He can even crack jokes.

A zany clown-like fighter. They say that Jax, a violent criminal wanted throughout the whole universe, is the real face under the mask, but no one knows for sure.

An intellectual scientist
evolved from reptiles.
REX Rex
He's a planetary lifeform evolved from reptiles, with a high level of intelligence. Originally, his occupation was that of a scientist. He participates in the competitions out of scientific interest and to push the limits of the brain. Don't judge a book by its cover, Rex is intelligent and speaks like a gentleman. People ignorant of his race are often afraid of his appearance, which bothers him.

A planet rebel serving a life sentence.
He strikes terror into battle!
BALMUNGBalmung
Rebelling against dictatorship, he incited the people to rise up and rampage, receiving a life sentence for treason. Recognized for his abilities in battle, he was granted temporary amnesty in exchange for fighting for the prestige of the planet. He's been given the chance for a reduced sentence if he does well in the competitions.
